Heal and Thrive through Challenges and Changes
Welcome to Overstory Counseling – a warm, welcoming space where you can find comfort and support during life transitions, post-traumatic experiences, and struggles with anxiety, OCD, and depression.
My name is Natasha Alvandi, and as your dedicated therapist, I'll be by your side, offering personalized, evidence-based care that I tailor to your unique needs.
Have traumatic events left you feeling lost, disconnected, and struggling to communicate? Do you want to trust others, but feel like you can't trust yourself? Do you feel overwhelmed by your anxieties about the future? You're not alone.
Together, we will work to overcome the silencing and invalidating effects of trauma and anxiety disorders. My goal is to provide a safe space where your voice is heard, and your experiences are respected. In therapy, we will work together at a pace that is right for you, allowing you to process past events and explore your emotions and experiences. This journey can be challenging, but through our collaboration, you can build resilience and regain trust in yourself.
I combine various evidence-based techniques—such as EMDR, CBT, IFS, DBT, ACT, ERP, Narrative Therapy, and Play Therapy—tailoring our sessions to your unique needs. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and encourage you to bring your cultural perspectives, beliefs, and goals into our sessions.
Seeking help can be difficult. Therapy is deeply personal, and you need to feel safe to do the work. That's why I offer free 15-minute consultations for us to chat and see if we're a good fit. From there, you can decide if you would like to schedule an intake session.
Feel free to reach out via email at natasha@overstorycounseling.com or by phone to schedule a free consultation. Also, you can use the "Request an appointment" link at the bottom of this website. (Not all of my availability is visible, so if you don't see a time you like, please email or call me.)
Together, we can explore your path to healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.
